Lemonade
2005 Poster Annual

As part of Australia’s Annual Design festival, creatives, graphic designers, illustrators and students from around Australia were invited to design posters in response to the theme “Beauty Rich and Rare” With around 500 responses, a final 50 were chosen to be exhibited at Federation Square. Lemonade were one of these finalists.
Our response was as follows :: With the title of our poster being “A Country Well Done” our poster represents the great Australian dream, the outdoor BBQ the vernacular of our nation, our culture and values. The steak represents our sunburnt country the beauty of our land – All that is rich and rare in this world. The steak is beautiful, rich in flavour
and is most certainly enjoyed well done, medium or rare.
A tongue-in-cheek look at a new coat of arms to represent the patriotic yet laid back attitude of our nation where green and gold adorns all things Australian. The poster design stands for great sports, freedom of speech backyard BBQ’s, and room to move in a beautiful country - All that is rich and rare in this world.
