Melbourne On Screen is a festival that celebrates everything to do with the screen - Television, Film and Interactive. Predominantly focussed as an industry event, Melbourne On Screen runs over 5 days offering participants a range of events, lectures, workshops and thinktanks.
Lemonade were comissioned to design and develop an engaging corporate identity that reflected the festival. A corporate identity was designed and developed out of three halved circles. The confiiguration of the circles reflected the progression of the industry, festival and Melbourne itself. Working as a series, the circles transformed from an "M" to a "O" and to a "S" - Spelling out MOS.
When animated via Flash on the website and projected at venues during the festival, these circles took on an energy of their own, defining Melbourne On Screen as a progressive and innovative festival that is here to stay.
