The Dream Festival – realised by NAB

The Dream Festival is a free public arts and music festival being held at Birrarung Marr on the banks of the river Yarra. Celebrating dreams, ideas and aspirations, the Festival features artistic installations built upon the river, live music and workshops for the general public.
Working in close partnership with brand experience agency ABT, Lemonade designed the interfaces for the Festival website. Taking a lead from the festival visual identity, Lemonade crafted an inspiring concept using the Dream Festival icons. The site design was considered carefully through wireframes to ensure clear pathways through the site and logical groupings of information were established. It was important to direct users through to the calendar of events so a global calendar graphic was developed. The interface used organic shapes throughout to create a synergy between visuals and the premise of the festival; thoughts, imagination and dreams.
Some of Melbourne’s leading artists and creative thinkers will show works during the festival from 3rd to 6th October 2008. Why not take your imagination for a walk...
