Canberra becomes exciting for Lemonade at AGDA Awards.

Words by Dion Wise on Dec 08, 2006

At the recent AGDA (Australian Graphic Design Association) Awards held in Canberra, Lemonade took out a Distinction award for  the website design and development on the Alannah Hill website.

Held at Parliament House, Canberra came alive as most of the top Australian creative agencies, graphic design studios, freelance graphic designers, web development annd interactive companies swooped in for a whirlwind visit to celebrate this biennial event. AGDA Awards were judged for graphic design work on Annual Reports, Corporate Identity, Corporate collateral (Brochures, Publications) as well as for environmental signage, packaging and of course web sites and interactive projects.

Other than the event, the rest of the weekend was spent walking around and photographing the Canberra’s architecturally designed sites, getting swooped by menacing birds and nearly missing the flights home to Melbourne. All in all “Can-boring” it wasn’t.
