BIG4 offers holiday experiences in over 165 holiday parks across Australia. It is a co-operative who brings the most astute Holiday Park operators together under a disciplined market dominant brand that provides a mutual commercial advantage whilst encouraging diversity in destination comforts and experiences that delights the visitor.
BIG4 are passionate about their brand. Communicating the essence and values of the brand online were paramount. From the moment interface designs were presented to BIG4 we knew the groundwork we had laid in the early stages of the project had paid off.
A comprehensive park finder system allows users to intuitively find a BIG4 holiday park to meet their needs.
With over 165 parks in the system there is an enormous amount of content in the system that needs to be maintained. Looking after the interests of each park and the integrity of the BIG4 brand are achieved by allowing parks to submit content for BIG4 editing and approval. Distributed content management of this nature has now been extended to other projects including an in depth touch screen kiosk system and automating the production of the printed BIG4 Holiday Guide.
The BIG4 Electronic Newsletter System allows BIG4 to communicate to over 45,000 members and subscribers. The strength of which has been demonstrated by outstanding results: almost 50% opened, 10% forwarded and only 76 unsubscribes.
Our search engine optimisation efforts have currently placed BIG4 at number 1 in the world on Google for important terms including “caravan parks” and “holiday parks”.
100,000 lines of code later the site is forever being enhanced and expanded delivering great user experiences and improving productivity on an ongoing basis.
