2005 Annual Report
With the key messages for the year being ‘growth’ and ‘acquisition’, Catalyst Recruitment required a report which not only highlighted this but also represented the ‘people’ aspect of the business in which Catalyst prides itself on its staff and resources. From a visual perspective the report needed to present a clean, accessible and professional forward-looking vision of the company.
By utilising traditional Russian nesting dolls (Babushka) as a metaphor and placing them into a business context, we were able to represent Catalyst’s key messages of growth, acquisition and building strength through numbers. These dolls also symbolise the ‘people’ aspect of the business and have long been associated with the image of a mother of a big healthy family.
Innovative in format, the report has a unique cover which folds open to reveal the bigger picture and a quoted message which states the vision for the future, further reinforcing the cover image concept and theme.
The use of their corporate colours ensures a clean uniform look throughout. Images are placed throughout to showcase the diversity of its people while the dolls have been utilised in the charts to help reinforce the theme and provide a unique yet relevant approach to displaying figures.
The report is clean, professional and memorable, painting a clear picture of Catalyst’s long-term strategy and positions them well for future growth.
