The Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) is the dairy industry’s professional organisation. The DIAA promotes excellence in the Australian dairy industry to its diverse membership including people in scientific research, processing, marketing, administration, education and training, product development, engineering, technology and promotion.
An extensive specification phase with the DIAA helped refine and define the purpose of the site to ensure that the site was a useful resource for a wide variety of stakeholders from the Federal Council and State Divisions through to individual members and potential members.
Membership is now centrally managed via the online membership database. Industry conferences are now effectively promoted and the historically complex registration form to their flagship conference the Dairy Science World Series has been immensely simplified for users.
For the first time the important DIAA publications, Australian Dairy Foods and the Australian Journal of Dairy Technology, can be searched online to allow members to download articles and non-members to purchase articles with ease.
The DIAA Content Management System not only provides the DIAA to manage their growing and evolving strategies with ease but provides important membership tools including from bulk emailing important messages to members to providing up to date membership reports to each State Division.
