James Alfredson specialises in fine antique and estate jewellery and is located in the heart of the city just of Little Collins St. Lemonade were approached to develop a brand that reflected the quality and sophistication of the product itself. The brand development stretched across multiple points including signage, packaging, stationary, art direction, advertising and a website.
The unique appeal of the James Alfredson jewellery is its desirabilityand high wearability in today’s fashions. To convey this Lemonadedeveloped an art direction style and photography shoot with a model toshow the contemporary side of the brand, this is something that is notcommon throughout the antique jewellery industry.
For the brand itself a scripted typeface was created that was crafted over and over to result in a elegant and unique wordmark. The 'A' with in the logo has also been extracted to be used as a monogram, although seen as an 'A' within the logo, by itself a 'J' and 'A' are easily distinguishable. A geometric brand language was also developed that reflected the pattern used within the stores interior design.
