The Port Phillip and Westernpoint Catchment Management Authority commissioned Lemonade to create a brand identity for their 'Yarra 4 Life' environmental program.
Our solution was to create a simple word mark to represent the essence of Yarra 4 Life – approachable, professional, inspirational and committed to looking after our natural capital. The colour palette also represents the flora and fauna which depends on a community spirit and effort to help preserve and enhance the landscapes, lifestyles and livelihoods.
To support the the word mark we created a supporting visual language made up of icons to represent landscapes, lifestyles and livelihoods – the core of the Yarra 4 Life restoration program. We configured these icons into a repeatable pattern which can be easily used on printed or online applications. Not only will it add depth to the brand, it will reinforce the nature of the organisation and differentiate Yarra 4 Life from many other similar organisations.
The result is a clean contemporary mark which is accessible and relevant for the purpose it serves. It is highly accessible to the general community but also adds a professional face to a program which relies on funding to remain viable and operational.
